“When the Fire Chief asked our membership to form a committee to spec out a new engine, the goal was to replace a 1989 Custom Fire Full Response Engine. After many meetings, and visiting neighboring departments, we felt we had direction on the style truck which would best suit us. We found ourselves referring back to the truck which we were having to replace, because of its style and also its dependability. When it came time to choose a manufacturer, it was unanimous to stick with Custom Fire. The process with them was made easy from Sales to Customer Service, all questions were answered in a prompt manner. We are confident that this truck will serve our community as well as the last engine did from Custom Fire.”
